Lewis And Clark’s College Engagement Session in Portland
A WINTERY ROMANTIC ENGAGEMENT
This Oregon Engagement Session has us all so excited because it is the most perfect wintery fairytale that will make you dream of rainy days and wet kisses.
We received an email a few months back before COVID started, Rowan and Wayne were on the other side and planning a beautiful elopement in Santa Barbara (California). The world had different plans so with the explosion of the world pandemic, and with traveling being dangerous and difficult they had to cancel their celebration. I received a phone call from Rowan and Wayne: they said they were visiting her family in Portland and that it could have been so cool to have their engagement session shot there. I couldn’t have agreed more. We met at this amazing location, the Lewis and Clark College, a liberal college of Arts in Portland, and despite the rain we capture some truly meaningful moments of love.
We had to do some research in order to find out the best spots for our photographs and so we arrived in Portland one day earlier than what the engagement photo shoot was scheduled for. We scouted the venue and found some amazing gems. Being winter in Oregon, we knew our biggest challenge was going to be the weather so we worked around the clock with Rowan and Wayne in order to find the best two hours window in which to shoot. Literally, until the morning of the shoot, we were checking the weather and we agreed to stay ready for the best moment in which to go out and shoot the session. Pure dedication.
It was so rewarding to see the sky holding up for us and let us photograph one of the most romantic Oregon Engagement Session. It was just perfect and I hope you’ll agree that the temperamental weather made everything even more beautiful!
