We all know, when the pandemic hit, the wedding industry took a toll, and lots of couples had to postpone or cancel their wedding. On the bright side, some couples, had more time to plan and some, like Ali and Rafique took the first chance they had to plan their luxury wedding in Lake Como the minute Italy opened their borders to American’s citizens and allowed events to happen again.
When, Ali and Rafique inquired with me, they only had 26 days before their wedding day and I was blown away to see the incredible magic that Gionata Russo Weddings created for them in such a short period of time.
A luxury wedding in Lake Como is nothing unheard of, but when the planning unfolds in less than a month that’s when all jaw drops. From Ali wearing a one-of-a-kind Reem Acra’s dress, down to the elevated paper stationery by Studio Wren Co. every detail of this wedding was curated to perfection.
The iconic Mandarin Hotel, was the unique backdrop chosen to host the ceremony and the party, and given the recent opening of Italy to travels and tourism, the couple and their families had the incredible opportunity to enjoy every space almost exclusively for the entire week.
